2 – How many styles do you offer? What colors are available?

We offer 2 different aluminum styles in Black, White and Bronze and Deco Grid style in black only.

3 – Are drive gates available?

Yes, they are available, but only in limited styles and sizes. Please consult the ForgeRight website for the style of your choice.

4 – Do gates support automatic openers?

No, ForgeRight gates do not support automatic openers at this time.

5 – Are Custom sizes available? If so, how tall, how wide for panels, post, and gates?

Custom sizing is available to the nearest foot, but cannot exceed 6 feet. Fencing over 6 feet should be considered as commercial grade, not residential.

6 – Can panels be cut to shorter widths?

Yes, panels can be cut to shorter widths using a reciprocating saw, a metal cutting blade, or hand held metal cutting hack saw. We recommend using ForgeRight touch-up paint to touch-up any scratches that may have occurred after cutting the panel to avoid any possible rusting (black model #: 863023, white model #: 863030, bronze model #: 863047).

7 – What size is the rail? Size of pickets? Size of posts?

The rails on our fence are made of a U-channel material that measures 1-1/4″ high and 1-1/4″ wide with the opening of the U downward, with a .55″ wall thickness. Pickets are all .59″ square tube with a .05″ wall thickness. All the posts are made from 2″ x 2″ square tube with the Line and Corner post are all .059″ (approx. 15-1/2 gauge) and End/Gate post are .118″ (approx. 9 gauge).

8 – How far apart are the pickets spaced on each of the various ForgeRight fence styles?

ForgeRight Newtown and Vinings pickets are spaced approximately 3-13/16” apart.

9 – What is the difference between the various post types and what are they used for (Line, Corner, End/Gate)?

ForgeRight line posts have pre-drilled holes on opposite sides of the post and are used to connect fence panels in a straight line. ForgeRight corner posts have pre-drilled holes on adjacent sides of the post and are used to connect fence panels at a 90° angle. ForgeRight End/Gate posts have pre-drilled holes on one side of post and are used to provide an end point for your fencing system or to support your gate. End/Gate posts are stronger than line and corner posts. If you are terminating to a solid wall or post, we offer adjustable wall connectors (black model #: 861357, white model #: 861364, bronze model #: 861579).

10 – What is racking?

Racking is a feature that allows your fencing system to accommodate slopes and inclines. The panel rails adjust to follow the slope of the land while the pickets remain plumb and vertical, so there isn’t a gap between the fence and the ground.

11 – Do ForgeRight fence panels rack? If so, how much?

All ForgeRight fence styles are designed to be able to rack with the exception of the Deco Grid style. Our aluminum fence panel styles that are able to rack, are designed to be able to rack to a rise or fall of 30″ over the 6-foot width of the panel or 22 degrees. Our steel fence panel styles that are able to rack, rack 15 degrees or 24″ rise or fall over the 8-foot width of the panel.

12 – Can the fencing system be installed on hard surfaces such as decks or concrete?

ForgeRight fence systems can be installed on hard surfaces like decks and concrete using our Deck Mount accessory ( black model #: 861395, white model #: 861401, bronze model #: 861593).

13 – What is quick ship, and how soon will the product arrive at the store?

14 – Is there a bracket to attach the fence posts to the panel?

No, there is not a bracket to attach ForgeRight fence posts to the panels. ForgeRight panels attach to the posts by sliding the panel into the pre-cut holes in the posts, and are secured with self-tapping screws. The self-tapping screws are included with each post.

15 – How do you install the panels? Gates? What accessories are needed to install?

Panels slide into precut holes in the posts and are secured with self-tapping screws which are included and placed approx. 3/8″ from the edge of the post to be able to make contact with the rail. Panels are inserted into holes that allow the fence to rest 2″ above the ground level. Gates are installed between End/Gate Posts, which are heavier gauge tube to allow for the weight of the gate and the movement of the gate being opened and closed. Instructions are included with each gate sold. Accessories are not needed, as our fence comes with all the items necessary to assemble it. For installations other than in-ground, you may need to purchase a special flange adapter (deck mount) for use with wood or concrete.

16 – What is included with the fence panels?

Each ForgeRight fence panel is sold individually. Panels come pre-assembled with all necessary hardware included. Posts, gates, and other accessories are sold separately.

17 – What is included with the fence posts?

Each ForgeRight fence post is sold individually. Posts come with screws needed for installation and a post cap (choice of ball or flat cap). Panels, gates, and other accessories are sold separately.

18 – What is covered by the warranty?

The Limited Lifetime Warranty on our aluminum fence is designed to protect you from defects in manufacturing or materials over the term of the warranty. It also warrants the powder coating against peeling, chipping, cracking, blistering or flaking. Steel and Euro fence have a limited 10 year warranty designed to protect you from defects in manufacturing or materials over the term of the warranty. It also warrants the powder coating against peeling, chipping, cracking, blistering or flaking.
